Instandhalter Backend (w/m/div.)

Role Summary

As a backend maintenance engineer (f/m/div.), you carry out planned maintenance and inspections and resolve unexpected malfunctions on our machines. You work with mechanical, electrical and electronic components and always adhere to the applicable work and safety regulations.

You will also carry out system qualifications based on specified instructions (e.g. using checklists, SPC) and monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.

To ensure product quality, assist with manual wafer inspection and batch processing.

You will carefully and transparently document your work in relevant systems to ensure traceability, quality assurance and the continuous improvement process. This includes repair histories, inspection results and abnormalities. In addition, you will be actively involved in identifying optimization potential for systems and processes.

You work closely with shift colleagues, process engineers and external service partners to efficiently solve system and process problems.

In this position you will work in our fully continuous 6:4 shift model. This means that every 6 working days (2 early, 2 late, 2 night shifts) are followed by 4 days off. Further information about the activity can be found here.

Requirements

• Education: successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g. electrician, mechatronics engineer, mechanic, industrial electronics engineer or comparable). A technician or master's degree is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Experience & Know-How: Professional experience in the maintenance and repair of systems, ideally in a manufacturing environment or with complex technical systems in a clean room. Experienced use of common IT applications for documentation and communication.
• Personality: high sense of quality and responsibility, high ability to concentrate and strong fine motor skills. Team player, flexible, motivated and resilient.
• Working style: independent, self-responsible, committed, solution-oriented
• Languages: very good knowledge of German and basic English
