Role Summary

Carry out inspections, sampling, supervision and/or coordination with the client, in accordance with the Inspection Order and the procedures of the inspection body.

Participate in opening and closing meetings of the service.

Prepare the work schedule and distribute the field tasks of the team of inspectors under your charge.

Ensure compliance with the schedule and timely delivery of inspection documents (deliverables) to the Operations Coordinator / Project Coordinator.

Verify the equipment and materials delivered by the Instrumentation and Materials Preparation team, before and after the service is performed.

Keep the internal team (Project Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Account Executive) and the client informed about the progress of the service or events that may affect it.

Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) before starting work, and supervise compliance with Quality and Safety of the personnel in charge, reporting substandard acts and conditions monthly to Intelex.

Actively participate in the safety program (5 Minute Talks, Safety Tools and at least 20 hours of annual training), as well as in the annual Quality program, with the aim of achieving and replicating qualification in basic sampling matrices in your team.

Propose opportunities for improvement and participate in the review of the procedures and instructions for inspection and sampling activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or technician in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology or related careers.
  • Availability to work rotating hours.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar tasks.
  • Qualification/competence in sampling in the matrices of water, air, soil, noise and emissions.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Office automation management (Windows environment, Excel).
  • Desirable: A1 (minimum 3 years) or A2b (minimum 2 years) driving license.
