Role Summary
Academic Training and Experience
- Technologist in Mines, Port Administration, Systems, Logistics and/or Foreign Trade.
- 1 Year of academic training after Secondary Education + 3 Years of Experience within the Organization.

Responsibilities
Execute the required operations in the field that are assigned.
- Execute operations that involve sampling activities and/or
inspection of minerals, fertilizers and general cargo.
- Direct the work team assigned by your boss in the daily operation.

- Verify and support the completion of physical and/or electronic formats
applicable to each service.
- Carry out surveys of vessel tanks, inspection of warehouses and reading of
set under the supervision of the Marine Inspector.

- Verify the metrological assurance of the equipment in your charge, which requires it.
- Ensure the integrity of the samples collected with the use of the media provided by the company and their adequate registration in the physical and digital formats provided by the company.
- Notify the supervisor and the logistics professional (in the areas where the logistics professional applies) at the end of a batch or sub-lot to coordinate the transportation of the collected samples and deliver them to the preparation area.
- Ensure proper management of all equipment in your charge; optimize the proper use and maintenance of work equipment and promptly inform the Direct Manager of any damage and anomalies that arise in their operation.
- Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area.
- Actively ensure participation in the HSE process and other activities related to safety, health and the environment.
- Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of the work.
- Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any non-compliant product in your process or customer complaint and/or claim.
- Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits, scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
- Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective, preventive actions and improvement plans.
- Ensure active participation in the execution of the monitoring and quality control processes required for the process.
- Ensure active participation in the registration of controls in the electronic Platforms available by the company for this purpose.
- Ensure active participation in the quality system registration processes
Control the expenses of the operations under your responsibility.
- In the absence of the Operations Supervisor, he must ensure control and supervision over the inspection assistants during work tasks.
- Prepare Inspection reports.
- Report any attempt or evidence of breaches of integrity on the part of third parties or members of the SGS team to the operations supervisor / operations coordinator / Head of Operations / director of operations immediately.
