Role Summary

Responsible for executing electrical and instrumentation (E&I) inspections, as well as issuing technical reports, release notes and quality monitoring in industrial projects.

The Senior Electrical/E&I Inspector contributes to

  • The reliability of electrical systems and instrumentation
  • Preventing failures during start-up and operation
  • Correct release of equipment and systems before energization
  • Mitigation of technical and commercial risks

Requirements

  • Responsible for the application of the Inspection Manual during the development of the different inspection and expedition activities.
  • Responsible for finished product inspection in the manufacturing of metal mechanical equipment, dimensional inspection, welding and painting application.
  • Know and Act in accordance with the code of ethics and quality systems of the SGS.
  • Guarantee the technical conformity, quality and regulatory compliance of electrical systems, equipment and facilities, through the execution of on-site inspections and in manufacturing workshops, acting as technical representative of SGS and the client.

Benefits

Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related (graduate), or equivalent technical careers with solid experience in inspection, construction and quality control in industrial electrical systems.

  • 2 to 4 years experience as an Electrical Inspector
  • Intermediate-Advanced English (Essential)
  • ď‚· Electrical and instrumentation inspection (E&I) in industrial projects
  • ď‚· QA/QC in construction, manufacturing or assembly
