The Insider Risk Analyst is a member of CrowdStrike’s Global Security team and plays a key role in operating and advancing the Insider Risk Program. Serving as the lead Insider Risk Analyst for the EMEA region, you will identify, assess, and help mitigate sophisticated internal and external threats to CrowdStrike’s people, assets, customers, and reputation. You will work closely with partners across Information Security, Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, and other business functions to investigate concerns, manage risk, and strengthen protective measures. We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and motivated security professional with an interest in insider risk, investigations, counterintelligence, risk management, and national security.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead Insider Risk analyst for the EMEA region, supporting regional matters and broader Global Security priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks involving CrowdStrike’s workforce, information, systems, and operations.
  • Conduct detailed and impartial investigations, including employee interviews, evidence analysis, documentation, and preparation of clear findings and recommendations.
  • Brief identified risks and investigative findings to stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and implement practical risk mitigation strategies, including security and insider risk awareness materials, newsletters, case studies, briefings, and targeted communications.
  • Lead outreach and risk management initiatives in partnership with Information Security, Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, and other business functions.
  • Monitor relevant industry, threat, legal, and regulatory developments and help integrate applicable insights into Insider Risk and Global Security processes.
  • Deliver Insider Risk and other Security training to employees in the region.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in insider threat or insider risk, intelligence analysis, corporate security, investigations, government security, risk management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience conducting interviews, writing investigative reports, and presenting complex issues to varied audiences.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the judgment to assess sensitive situations and develop proportionate, practical recommendations.
  • Familiarity with insider risk principles, investigative practices, cybersecurity concepts, and the ways people, processes, and technology intersect within a security program.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, global environment while building trusted relationships across teams, functions, and organisational levels.
  • Proficiency in open-source intelligence research and familiarity with threat intelligence, investigative, or security-related tools.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points

  • Experience within government, military, intelligence, law enforcement, defence contracting, or another national security environment.
  • Applied experience conducting insider risk, fraud, counterintelligence, corporate security, or other complex investigations.
  • Applied experience developing and delivering security education, training, awareness campaigns, or workforce communications.
  • Working knowledge of UK, European, or other global employment, privacy, and data protection considerations.
  • Experience working within a global tech organisation .

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge / Career Skills Program (CSP) Internship is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29 as enacted by 10 U.S.C. Sec 1143. Eligibility is restricted to members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty. SkillBridge/CSP period of eligibility is within the final 180 days of Active Duty service, and the SkillBridge/CSP must be completed prior to separation from Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge/CSP Internship is open to members of all services, and all ranks and experience levels. Service members should fully review SkillBridge/CSP Job Description for requirements and qualifications of the individual position.

SkillBridge participants participate in full time training with industry (40-hour work week) under permissive temporary duty military orders and are not eligible for compensation from CrowdStrike during SkillBridge participation, but will continue to receive all military wages and benefits as defined by the Department of Defense.
