Role Summary
The Inside Sales Account Representative is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers to understand their needs, and providing SGS solutions. This role is responsible for establishing an instant connection with customers over the phone and is expected to have technical knowledge of all SGS service offerings to provide expert customer service, providing support to customers, the outside sales team and the Customer Services team. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing leads, generating offers and preparing quotes in accordance with SGS standards.
Responsibilities

- Represents SGS professionally and ethically in the marketplace.
- Use exceptional verbal and written communication skills to discuss SGS capabilities and its unique features, benefits and services to clients.
- Respond to customer questions and provide supporting documentation via email.
- Contact potential and existing clients to discuss their needs.
- Stay continually updated on SGS service offerings and assess customer needs in relation to SGS capabilities.
- Lead generation through monitoring of bidding sites.
- Conduct discovery sessions with both qualified and unqualified leads.
- Develop prospects and convert them into sales.
- Monitor the offer to determine the result.
- Close sales and reach the income goal.
- Practice active listening to understand and identify customer needs and determine potential opportunities.
- Maintain the database of leads and customer inquiries in the CRM.
- Provide proposal and opportunity intelligence to the Business Development Manager and Operations Manager.
- Continually develop personal selling skills, gain industry knowledge, expand your experience in and apply environmental service offerings.
- Develop a network of contacts in the industry.
- Communicates, as necessary, with ISMs and other internal personnel.
- Build trust by providing timely responses to all inquiries, whether by phone or email.
- Encourage a positive attitude of "Yes we can!" and a safe work environment.
- Be informed and comply with SGS procedures and standards.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships.
- Adopts and supports specific operational improvement activities as communicated by the GBS Team Leader. These projects will focus on quality improvement, efficiency, accreditation, communication and technical improvement.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned, either in support of department objectives or for your training, education, or personal or professional development, as scheduled by your immediate superior.
- Ensures the work area at GBS is kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Complies with all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related science is required.
- Requiring an English level C1 or higher.
- Entry level with 0-2 years of experience. Previous industry experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Previous telephone sales experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows suite, LinkedIn and CRM software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to build strong relationships with clients, as well as work effectively and collaborate internally
- Strong leadership, self-initiative, resource utilization, excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Active listening and excellent customer service skills
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to clients or employees of the organization.

Hours: Monday to Friday
Modality: in person
- Salary: $6,000,000 + Commissions (commission table is shared in the interview process).
- Temporary contract for the first 6 months, then goes directly to SGS for an indefinite term.
