Infrastructure Security Architect (m/w/d) at Sopra Steria in nationwide, Germany.

Role Summary

  • You design security architectures for complex IT and transformation projects and support their successful implementation
  • You translate security and compliance requirements into viable architectures and coordinate business and technical requirements with stakeholders
  • The conception of security solutions such as network segmentation, firewall concepts, DMZ design and identity management is part of your area of responsibility
  • You will ensure comprehensive architectural governance, quality assurance and compliance with security, compliance and contractual requirements
  • As part of migrations, transitions and provider changes, you will be responsible for planning, controlling and documenting the projects
  • In close collaboration with project management, operations, customers and architecture teams, you ensure safe and operational solutions
  • With your expertise, you support the offer and presales phases with solution approaches, effort estimates and technical assessments

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

  • You have completed a degree in (business) information technology, mathematics, economics or comparable professional training
  • You are distinguished by many years of experience in security solution design within complex IT environments as well as in-depth knowledge of modern security architectures
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS and Microsoft Azure, complements your technical know-how
  • You handle architecture and service management frameworks confidently and use them purposefully in projects
  • Your previous migration, transformation or transition projects were ideally in a regulated or public environment
  • Good knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements such as DORA, NIS-2 and KRITIS round off your professional expertise
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach and strong communication skills support collaboration with different stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of German and English (at least B2) rounds off your profile
