Location: Stockholm or Espoo (hybrid job)

Responsibilities
- What are you going to do?
- You will join an experienced mainframe team responsible for the stability, availability and continuous development of the z/OS environment. The role combines in-depth system programming, operational responsibility and close cooperation with IT and business.
Your duties include
- System programming and maintenance of the z/OS operating system and related subsystems
- Collaboration with MQ for z/OS, IMS and/or Db2 experts depending on your skills
- Software installations, updates and maintenance with SMP/E tools
- Troubleshooting, problem management and operational support
- Management of certificate, encryption and other security-related settings
- Participation in emergency and planned infrastructure changes, such as data center replacements and significant implementation projects
- Modernization of the environment, automation and continuous development
Requirements
We hope you have
- Solid experience in the IBM z/OS environment in the role of system programmer or senior infrastructure specialist
- Good knowledge of software maintenance and installation with SMP/E
- Understanding of mainframe security including certificates, PKI, encryption and key management
- Experience in production environments with 24/7 availability requirements
- A systematic and self-initiated way of working and the desire to take responsibility
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team of experts
- A curious attitude and a desire to constantly develop your own skills
- Calm and analytical way of working even in disruptive situations
- In addition, you will succeed in the task if you have:
- Experience with z/OS and distributed systems integrations
- Background from the financial sector or other regulated operating environment
- Knowledge of mainframe automation, monitoring and alarm systems
- Knowledge of other z/OS subsystems or middleware solutions
