Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control and material management operations.
  • Analyze current processes and develop solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and process improvement workshops.
  • Apply Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and best practices.
  • Evaluate workflows, labor utilization, and process performance using Industrial Engineering principles.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardization.
  • Design and implement controls to sustain process improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related engineering discipline required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Operational Excellence, Inventory Control, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean principles and sustainable process improvements.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Experience implementing inventory optimization initiatives preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, material management, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive fact-based decision making.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • APICS CPIM certification.
  • Experience within an EMS manufacturing environment (Jabil, Flex, Sanmina, Benchmark, Celestica, Plexus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience with Power BI or advanced analytics tools.
  • AutoCAD experience.
