Role Summary

The mission

We would like to strengthen our Industrial Architecture (Manufacturing Engineering) support teams on propulsion systems and their integration into FAL. In this context, two teams are working collaboratively on the industrial feasibility of the propulsion units for future Airbus aircraft programs.

One of the objectives is to implement new industrial means technologies that can meet the requirements of future designs of specific parts and assemblies.

Content of the mission

To meet the industrial objectives set by the Program, you will participate in:

-The definition of industrial requirements which will then be cascaded to the different professions of the MFT (industrial architects, technology experts, Design Office, factory experts)

-Co-design sessions between the BE and the ME to estimate the industrial feasibility of the proposed propulsion system concepts

-The definition of the industrial sequences of manufacturing or assembly of the components of the propulsion assembly (Build Process)

-The definition of the industrial maturity plan for a technology for each selected industrial system (MRL process - Manufacturing Readiness Level) including analyzes of variability of the industrial system, management of repeatability tests, industrial capability analysis (Cp/Cpk).

Requirements

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering training profile with initial aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering experience.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of industrial systems and how to size them
• Knowledge of aeronautical manufacturing and assembly processes
• Concepts of industrial requirements
• Experience in propulsion systems (masts, nacelles) is a plus

Project management skills

• Experience in planning, risk management, action plans and monitoring, reporting
• Stakeholders management: management of project stakeholders, networking and communication. Facilitating meetings
• Visual Communication: formatting the information collected to make it readable, accessible and enable decision-making

Soft skills

• Autonomy and commitment, rigor
• Taking a step back and gaining perspective to accept the decisions made by stakeholders
• Adaptability, ability to deal with several subjects in parallel
• Ability to synthesize and present clear data
• Technical curiosity, appetite for new technologies
• Ability to defend one's positions in meetings.
