Role Summary

Who will you work with?

The Piossasco (TO) site is a leader in the design and production of brake control devices, in which electronics, software and pneumatics interact closely.

You will be placed in the Product Engineering team, reporting to the Product Electronic Engineering Leader.

EMC / EMI

Analog electronics (operational, management and conditioning of analog signals, etc.)

Digital electronics (understanding how logic units work)

Laboratory instrumentation: use of oscilloscope, multimeter, with good knowledge of the basics of electronic measurements.

Analysis of electronic circuits on PCB

Languages

Excellent knowledge of the English language

Good knowledge of the Italian language (at least A2/B1)

Availability to travel for a few days locally or in Europe. Availability for medium-short term trips (1–2 weeks) to India, China or the United States.

Responsibilities

How will you make a difference?

In the role of HW Electronic Engineer you will be responsible for the design and redesign of electronic boards and control units, their validation in collaboration with the laboratory and the technical support of the product during its entire life cycle, from design to industrialization up to the analysis and resolution of problems arising from production and the field, collaborating with the various company departments.

What will a typical day be like for you?

  • Definition of hardware requirements
  • Hardware design
  • Hardware validation
  • Support for hardware validation in the laboratory
  • Preparation of diagrams and documentation
  • Technical analysis of non-conformities (NC), identification of root causes and related reporting
  • Technical support for the product throughout its life cycle
  • Activities and support related to the product catalog
  • Drafting and presentation of progress reports with a frequency and depth appropriate to the work in progress
  • Preparation of specifications for board and BCU type tests
  • Maintaining documentation under formal configuration control.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of problems arising from production, testing and field
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers for the analysis and resolution of technical issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering (or electronic expert with solid experience and proven technical skills of more than 15 years).
  • +5 years of experience in the electronics sector
  • Technical analysis skills
  • reading and analysis of electronic schematics

datasheet interpretation

  • ability to design and analyze electronic schematics and understand and review PCB layouts.
  • Technical reporting: ability to write technical reports in English.

The current salary for this role is between €35,800 and €47,500. The actual salary offered to the candidate may be influenced by several factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and workplace. The base salary range is subject to change and may be revised in the future.
