Role Summary

2 main missions

Maximize the ecological performance of sites: optimization of utilities (water, steam, hot, cold, compressed air), improvement of energy efficiency, electrical engineering, PV

Maximize the performance of installations: design/installation of decarbonizing equipment (PAC, biomass, etc.), mechanical engineering, regulatory maintenance

As a HV/LV Electricity Technical Expert M/F, you act as a technical referent in your area of expertise, with the teams and activities of Veolia Energie Performance and Défense Environnement Services.

Your expertise contributes to the technical performance of our activities, particularly in the context of calls for tenders, maintenance audits and technical assistance missions.

Responsibilities

Your main missions

  • Carry out technical and economic estimates for HT/LV electricity services as part of calls for tenders for VEP.
  • Ensure technical expertise on the electrical installations of the VEP and DES perimeter.
  • Carry out technical audits and check the application of maintenance and operating standards defined in your area of expertise.
  • Identify gaps, propose corrective actions and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices.
  • Provide technical assistance to operational teams on issues related to HV/LV electrical installations.
  • Participate in the development and reliability of standards, methods and technical benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the sharing of good practices and the improvement of team skills.
  • Participate in expertise and support missions necessary for the development and performance of activities.
  • You will work within a team of multidisciplinary technical experts, promoting the sharing of experience and the complementarity of skills.
  • The position involves occasional travel throughout France, mainly within the framework of short missions, generally less than a week. As an indication, these trips represent approximately 5 to 10 missions per year.
  • The position offers the possibility of benefiting from 2 days of teleworking per week.
  • A team meeting is organized in Allenjoie approximately once every 6 weeks.

Requirements

  • You have technical training in electricity, electrotechnics or maintenance.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of LV/HV electrical installations.
  • You have solid technical expertise in the field of HV/LV electricity.
  • Your background and your level of expertise allow you to progress into a position of managerial responsibility.
  • You are able to analyze an installation, identify discrepancies and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • You are comfortable carrying out costings, technical audits and assistance missions.
  • You demonstrate autonomy, rigor and a good analytical mind.
  • You enjoy teamwork and sharing expertise.
  • You are mobile for occasional trips throughout France.

Desired qualifications and skills

  • Up to date HT/LV electrical clearances.
  • Solid knowledge of safety rules and standards applicable to electrical installations.
  • Mastery of operating and maintenance practices for HV/LV installations.
