Role Summary

For the SuedOstLink network expansion project, we are now looking for an experienced HSE coordinator / safety and health protection coordinator (m/f/d) in Weiden/Upper Palatinate who is responsible for occupational safety, health and environmental protection on the construction site - freelancers are also welcome.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for occupational safety, health and environmental protection on the construction site in accordance with the HSE management system and construction site regulations

  • Creation, maintenance and implementation of the safety and health protection plan (SiGe plan)
  • Carrying out and documenting safety inspections, instructions and audits
  • Advising construction and project management on all HSE-related issues as well as communication with authorities and contractors
  • Coordination and monitoring of compliance with customer standards, legal requirements and internal processes

Requirements

  • Completed studies in civil engineering or technical training with further training as an occupational safety specialist or SiGeKo (RAB 30, Appendix B/C)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in HSE or safety management, ideally in civil engineering, plant engineering or power plant construction
  • Knowledge of HSE management systems, relevant standards (e.g. ISO 45001) and procurement law
  • Confident use of MS Office, MS Project, AVA and SharePoint
  • Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English and class B driving license
  • Willingness to travel within Bavaria
