Role Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care for inpatients from admission through discharge, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Conduct daily ward rounds (Monday–Saturday) for all assigned patients and document findings in the medical records:
- New patients: initial visit within 4, clinical deterioration, therapy changes, or other critical concerns)
- Proper execution of all specialist doctors’ instructions
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including medical support units, administrative staff, and insurance providers to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with patients and their families regarding:
- Patient condition updates
- Diagnostic and treatment plans
- Discharge planning
- Coordination with insurance/guarantor
Ensure completeness of medical records by reminding RMOs and specialist doctors when necessary.
Provide regular reports to the Head of AMA regarding inpatient conditions and ward-related incidents within the assigned area of responsibility.
Collaborate with Case Managers for cases involving
- Early discharge planning
- High-risk or high-cost patients
- High potential for complaints
- Chronic or complex conditions
- Complex financing/insurance arrangements
- Special patient/family education needs

Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) with completed internship
- Valid and active medical license (STR)
- Experience as a general practitioner in a hospital setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of inpatient care processes and medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong clinical judgment and responsiveness in emergency situations
