As a Multi-Skilled Dozer or Grader Operator at our Fort McMurray site, you'll be part of a team that shapes the landscape of Canada's energy future. FLINT is hiring a crew of Dozer and Grader Operators for permanent work in Fort McMurray, AB, starting ASAP. This role offers a 6/6 rotation schedule, daily bussing from Fort McMurray, and benefits after 300+ hours.

This is a local position that is best suited for residents of Fort McMurray.

Overtime eligible after 8 hours per day OR 44 hours per week starting September 1, 2026.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2000+ hours of experience operating a D8+ is required.
  • A minimum of 2000+ hours of experience operating a 16M or 24M grader.
  • Open pit mining experience is an asset.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements

CSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada)

  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Carrying out groundwork in the tailings area of the mine.
  • Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
