• Sonas Melview House Nursing Home, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, E91 XY26
• Sonas Nursing Home Athlone, Cloghanboy, Balymahon Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37 AC90
• Sonas Nursing Home Carrick On Suir, Carrickbeg, Carrick On Suir, Co. Tipperary, E32 D681
• Sonas Nursing Home Ard na Greine, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo, F26 AW86

Successful candidates may be assigned to any of the above locations depending on service needs.

Support and assist residents in fulfilling activities of daily living, enabling them to be as independent as possible.

Deliver a high standard of person-centred care, ensuring al practices reflect the privacy, dignity, and respect of our residents.

Establish and maintain relationships with residents based on respect and equality.

Promote, encourage, and practice the ethos of person-centred care.

Participate in organising and carrying out social outings and in-house activities.

Maintain residents’ dining rooms, living areas, and bedrooms in a neat, presentable, and hygienic state.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Must have started or completed FETAC/QQI Major Award Level 5 in Healthcare or related field, or equivalent.
• Modules in Care of the Older Person, Infection Prevention & Control, Nutrition, and Palliative Care Support are desirable.
• Current and valid Infection Control, Manual & Resident Moving & Handling, and Safeguarding of Vulnerable
• Adults Certificates (training can be provided if required).

Essential Skills

Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered- Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills

Previous experience in healthcare or residential care settings.
