Role Summary

At SGS, a world-leading company in inspection, verification, testing and certification, we are looking to incorporate a Health and Safety Coordinator to participate in an important project located in Zaragoza.

We are looking for a professional with experience in health and safety coordination in the execution phase, who wants to be part of a large project and work in a technically demanding environment.

🚀 What will be your mission?

As Health and Safety Coordinator in the execution phase, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the correct application of preventive principles and coordinating activities related to health and safety during the development of the work.

You will work in a highly technically demanding environment, collaborating with the different agents involved in the project to ensure the highest security standards.

🧩 What will you do in your day to day life?

Exercise the functions of Health and Safety Coordination during the execution phase of the work.

Supervise compliance with current regulations regarding the prevention of occupational risks.

Coordinate the preventive activities of the different companies and subcontractors present on site.

Conduct health and safety visits and inspections.

Identify risks and propose preventive and corrective measures.

Monitor the security measures implemented on site.

Participate in coordination meetings with contractors, subcontractors and other project agents.

Review preventive documentation and verify compliance with established requirements.

Prepare reports and documentation related to health and safety coordination.

Track incidents and corrective actions derived from them.

What are we looking for in you?

Training

Requirements

  • University degree such as
  • Engineering.
  • Technical Engineering.
  • Technical Architecture.
  • Equivalent qualification.
  • Master in Occupational Risk Prevention, being essential to have at least the Occupational Safety specialty.
  • At least 3 years of experience in occupational risk prevention and/or health and safety coordination on construction sites.
  • Experience in health and safety coordination during the execution phase.

It will be highly valuable to have participated in large-scale projects or critical sectors, especially in environments such as:

  • Logistics centers.
  • Hospitals.
  • Energy production plants.
  • Substations and energy infrastructures.
  • Pharmaceutical plants.
  • Airports.
  • Large industrial projects.
  • Previous experience in Data Centers will be highly valued, especially in construction or expansion projects of these facilities.

🌍 Languages

English level B2 or higher, both oral and written.
