The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

  • Fact-based, using measurable results and documented data.
  • Prepared to challenge supplier assumptions and verify operating references.

Responsibilities

  • Define engineering standards and design-basis principles.
  • Lead technical evaluation of technology options and supplier proposals.
  • Integrate mass, energy, water, gas and by-product balances.
  • Direct Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC engineering.
  • Manage battery limits and interfaces between plants and packages.
  • Define technical guarantees, FAT/SAT requirements and performance tests.

Requirements

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY**

  • Relevant engineering degree, e.g. process, chemical, energy or mechanical engineering.
  • 10-15+ years of process-industry experience.
  • Experience with EPC/EPCM projects and coordination of multiple technology suppliers.
  • Strong process and utilities understanding.
  • Ability to assess technology based on lifecycle cost, reliability and operability.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**

  • Biogas, biorefinery, chemical or energy-infrastructure experience.
  • HAZOP/HAZID and process-safety knowledge.
  • Experience with multi-plant industrial programmes.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

  • A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.
  • Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
