Head of Department (m/f/d) Product Management Concrete

Role Summary

Leadership and further development of a team of product managers (m/f/d) and application engineers (m/f/d)

Overall responsibility for the strategic management of the product portfolio

Close and structured collaboration with the R&D and sales departments with the aim of developing and implementing a future-oriented product portfolio and an innovation strategy

Technical support of the product portfolio across the entire product cycle, including the necessary process steps and interface communication for the target market concrete

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the responsible product portfolio
• Technical training, advice and intensive support for our customers’ demanding applications
• Development of sales arguments for marketing documents and campaigns with previous market and competition analyses
• Supporting sales with technically demanding project acquisitions and supporting development processes
• Implementing and accelerating digital processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies, preferably in the field of construction, or technical training with appropriate professional experience and an E-certificate
• Experience in product management as well as application experience in concrete technology, especially in the area of ready-mixed concrete
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards customers and interfaces
• Experience in strategic product portfolio and innovation management
• Understanding and interest in digital processes, data-driven work and associated tools
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience in leading teams
• Ability to structure complex issues and make decisions
• Willingness to travel within Germany with your own company car
• Ability to communicate in English
• Driving license class B
