Job details

・Architectural design development, detailed design, and creation and management of design documents (plans, cross-sections, elevations, detailed drawings, etc.) for factory buildings and ancillary infrastructure
・Confirmation of compliance with building-related laws and regulations (Building Standards Act, fire protection, zoning, barrier-free, etc.) and ensuring legal compliance
・Architecture/facility integrated design through collaboration with MEP engineers, structural engineers, project managers, etc.
・Selection of building materials, finishes, and construction methods (considering performance, cost, sustainability, and workability)
・Cost-conscious design optimization, consideration of VE proposals, and design reflection
・Design support at the construction stage (drawing approval, RFI response, on-site confirmation, construction quality confirmation)
・Management of As-built books and recording/updating of architectural design change history
・Maintenance and management after building completion, renovation planning, equipment and architectural asset management
・Analysis of causes of problems such as water leakage, consideration of corrective measures, and formulation of repair plans
・Technical support and architectural cluster services for multiple locations in Japan (Yorii, Musashi, Tochigi, Misato, Izumozaki, Takasaki factories, etc.)

・Promote rational and cost-optimized repairs and renovations for architectural defects such as water leakage due to aging deterioration.

- Drafting and implementing medium- to long-term investment and maintenance plans for architectural assets and infrastructure facilities.

qualification
[Required experience/skills]
・Degree in architectural engineering field
・Over 5 years of project experience at a general contractor or design office
・Experience in understanding and reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, construction drawings, and as-built documents.
・Knowledge of construction procedures, process management, and quality control
・PC skills (design document creation, document creation, etc.)
・High communication skills to smoothly proceed with work with related parties

・First class architect qualification
・First-class construction management engineer qualification
・Experience in designing or managing construction of factories/plants
・Knowledge regarding sustainable architecture and energy efficiency improvement
