Role Summary

We are recruiting a GNSS and SBAS Algorithm Engineer to join our Space Business Unit within the Flight Dynamics Systems & Navigation activity department. Our entity specializes in the professions of orbitography, space mechanics, navigation and SCAO.

Responsibilities

• As part of our navigation team, you will contribute to the following activities:
• Analysis and monitoring of GNSS system performance (GPS, GALILEO, EGNOS, WAAS, etc.)
• Carrying out engineering studies and R&D work relating to
• The evolution of GNSS navigation and localization solutions (algorithms, software, libraries, platforms, simulators, etc.)

The integration and evaluation of specific techniques such as PPP (Precise Point Positioning), RTK (Real-Time Kinematic), multi-sensor hybridization, etc.

• Development, validation and optimization of GNSS navigation algorithms
• Participation in field experiments for the collection and analysis of GNSS data
• Writing technical notes, algorithm documentation, study report
• The technical environment
• Satellite navigation systems (GNSS: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) and SBAS augmentation systems (EGNOS, WAAS, MSAS, GAGAN)
• Data formats and industry standards: RINEX, SP3, RTCM, NMEA
• Estimation methods: least squares and Kalman filtering...
• Advanced positioning techniques: PPP, RTK...
• Scientific and algorithmic software development (C/C++, Python, etc.)
• English: read, write, speak

Requirements

• Trained as an engineer or with an equivalent university qualification (Bac+5) with a specialization in GNSS signal processing or navigation, you have 1 year of experience in GNSS / SBAS algorithms as well as in the development and validation of positioning algorithms (PPP, RTK, Kalman filtering).
• Do you have good interpersonal skills, which allows you to work effectively in a team? Are you rigorous, autonomous and proactive in carrying out your missions? Then you are the gem we are looking for!
