GCP Cloud Specialist (Delivery, Architecture)

Role Summary

Act as a technical reference in the execution and implementation of cloud projects (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) practices.

Design solutions based on Microservices and Serverless using GKE and Cloud Run.

Participate in strategic agendas supporting the pre-sales team, supporting the commercial area in understanding customer demands.

Support in the preparation of architectural drawings to compose commercial proposals, estimating costs in the GCP calculator and defining the engineering team's hourly effort for delivery;

Conduct technical presentations (pitch) and discovery workshops with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical presentations (pitch) and discovery workshops with clients, aiming to identify needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Manage Google Cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS), ensuring operation, security and optimization of resources.
• Plan and execute migration projects for GCP, including modalities such as lift-and-shift, replatform and refactor.
• Use Terraform for provisioning and advanced management of cloud environments.
• Manage and/or migrate on-premises Windows and Linux environments, ensuring the integrity and continuity of services.
• Interact directly with customers, offering technical support, clarifying doubts and promoting clear and objective communication.
• Stay up to date with GCP certifications, especially Professional Cloud Architect, in addition to pursuing desirable certifications in security, networking and DevOps.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and contributing to the technical evolution of projects.
• Participate in meetings and presentations in English, using the language at an intermediate level for international communication.

Requirements

• Experience in administering Google Cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS);
• Experience in migration projects for GCP in the IAAS and PAAS modalities (lift-and-shift, replatform and refactor);
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform for provisioning environments;
• Experience in administering and/or migrating on-premises Windows and Linux environments;
• Good communication, ease of making presentations (technical pitch) and interacting with the client;
• Mandatory: GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification;
• Desirable: Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer;

Intermediate English.
