GBS EHS STATISTICIAN, CRS

Role Summary

Responsible for providing statistical support in clinical research, including database data monitoring and query, study data management, execution of statistical analysis, statistical reporting, validation of statistical analysis. You will also be involved in reviewing the draft research protocol and draft report, and assisting the statistician in designing appropriate statistical analysis plans and monitoring delivery dates. You will be responsible for answering sponsor questions when the statistician is not available.

Responsibilities

POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Perform statistical analysis of clinical data in a timely manner. Develop and file statistics-related study documents, including but not limited to amendment, deviation, and filing note.
• Perform quality control of derived data sets and simple and advanced tables, figures, and data lists.
• Review the study protocol to determine appropriate statistical methodology. Understand and apply advanced statistical methods.
• Prepare statistical training documents. Train and guide new staff.
• Participate in study design, for example by developing the statistical analysis plan and data management plan independently, performing sample size and power calculations where necessary.
• Provide statistical advice to clients when necessary, answer client questions related to statistical analysis and interpretation of results.

Requirements

• Master in Statistics/Biostatistics or equivalent training
• More than 5 years of work experience as a statistician
• Experience in mastering SAS programming and great oral and written communication skills.
• Linguistic knowledge: necessary for effective communication.
• Mathematical skills: essential to understand the statistical concept

Reasoning ability: essential to understand and solve problems

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
