Role Summary

Within Sopra Steria's Microsoft Area you will work with experienced engineers on complex, impactful projects for customers in defense, the public sector, financial services and industry. What are you going to do?

As a Fullstack Developer you work in multidisciplinary DevOps teams on complex IT issues. You are the bridge between a rock-solid .NET backend and an intuitive, modern frontend. You develop future-proof solutions and deliver code that you are proud of: clean, maintainable, well-tested and ready for the future.

Quality comes first. No quick fixes, but well-thought-out solutions. You actively think about software architecture, design choices and technical standards, where you monitor both the logic in the backend and the performance in the frontend.

An example of an assignment could include the following

Migrations & Modernization: Migrate an outdated Microsoft .NET application (with, for example, .NET Framework 4.8) to .NET 8, and at the same time rebuild the user interface in a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, React or Vue.

Cloud & Architecture: Setting up a new Azure environment with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), allowing microservices in .NET to communicate seamlessly with a scalable front end.

Security & Optimization: Implement MFA in an existing application and optimize API performance to drastically reduce browser loading times.

Requirements

• What are you taking with you?
• At least 2 years of experience as a .NET Developer, with strong knowledge of .NET (C#) and modern .NET Core/.NET 8 architectures and preferably experience with Azure DevOps and/or Github. Are you not working with it yet? Then you are open to quickly mastering this.
• In addition to a strong backend (.NET) foundation, you also have demonstrable knowledge of and experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (such as Angular, React or Vue).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and used to working together within a DevOps team.
• A completed HBO or WO education in Computer Science (or similar), communicates well in Dutch and enjoys working in a team where knowledge sharing is central.
• You have a positive, solution-oriented mindset and find it important to write high-quality, maintainable code.
• You continue to develop yourself, actively follow technological developments, are motivated to obtain certifications and you think it would be cool to become part of our Microsoft Community in which knowledge sharing is central.
