Full-Stack Web Developer

Role Summary

Web Application Development

Development of responsive and functional web applications for research and innovative projects (EU, GR, Horizon, Digital Europe etc.) with an emphasis on front-end (React, Vue or Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Python, PHP or Java).

Participating in Platform Design

Collaboration with UI/UX designers and system architects to design and implement interfaces and application architecture that are user-centric, scalable and secure.

Integration of APIs & Databases

Interface with RESTful APIs, database management (SQL, NoSQL), users, roles and data flows between subsystems.

Participation in R&D Works

Integrating features such as data analysis, dashboards, AI/ML flows, interactive features (eg, maps, charts, widgets) into research prototypes.

DevOps & Deployment

Help with development environment setup, versioning via Git, and development in staging/production environments (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms).

Requirements

Code Documentation & Deliverables

• Writing documentation, user manuals, installation guides and supporting project deliverables related to frontend/backend development.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in web application development (frontend or full stack).
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and at least one modern framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, PHP or Java.
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git and Agile environments (Jira, Scrum).
• Ability to document and communicate with technical and non-technical teams.

Desired

• Experience in EU or GR funding projects.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge/interest in web accessibility (WCAG), security best practices.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
