Role Summary

• Job: Full Stack Java Developer
• Location: Washington DC
• Duration: 6 Months
• Need GC and USC

The purpose of this position is to provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of enterprise-wide applications systems in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications
• Follow established software development standards and procedures
• Support business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Work with complex application features and technical designs
• Collaborate with departments and users in the support of business applications
• Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met

Requirements

SKILLS

• Front End: JQuery 3+, JSP, JSF and JavaScript
• Middle Tier: Java 1.7+
• Back-end: Spring 4.3+ (Need Spring MVC), (Good to have: Spring Security, SpringREST)
• Back-end framework: Hibernate 5.0+ (Hibernate-Spatial Experience Preferred)
• Back-end database: PostGreSQL 9+ (PostGIS experience is required)
• Application Sever: Jboss (required), Tomcat (Good to have)
• WebServices: RESTful JAXRS, SpringREST, Jersey required
• Atlasian GIT source code repository is required
• Bamboo for CI a plus
