Role Summary

Act in the management and control of measurements of contracts and geotechnical and industrial engineering projects, ensuring the correct calculation of services performed, adherence to contractual criteria and the reliability of information for billing and cost control. Support the coordination of Project Controls in consolidating the physical and financial progress of projects, contributing to the predictability of results, identifying deviations, mitigating contractual risks and improving project management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to the Project Coordinator or Manager.
  • Prepare, check and monitor measurements of services performed, ensuring adherence to contracts, scopes, measurement criteria and reference documents.
  • Survey and determine the quantities carried out in the field, using projects, memorials, field reports, engineering documents and other applicable records.
  • Consolidate the physical and financial measurements of contracts, ensuring traceability between quantities executed, unit prices, measured values and supporting documents.
  • Monitor the billing process, from preparation and validation of measurements to approval by the customer, identifying and dealing with divergences and pending issues.
  • Analyze deviations between the physical progress made, the measured values and the planning, identifying inconsistencies, risks and opportunities for recovering values.
  • Control contractual balances, contracted, executed and remaining quantities, signaling in advance possible impacts on the scope and budget.
  • Support contractual management by monitoring amendments, additional services, scope changes, claims, economic rebalancing and other events with an impact on measurement and billing.
  • Support the development and updating of cost controls, commitments and forecasts, providing information from measurements for the financial management of projects.
  • Support the structuring and maintenance of the Project Analytical Structure (EAP/WBS) and measurement criteria, ensuring adequate linkage between scope, planning, execution and billing.
  • Integrate measurement information, physical planning and costs, contributing to performance analyzes and physical-financial progress indicators.
  • Prepare and update reports, controls and management dashboards in tools such as Excel and Power BI, aiming to provide visibility into the performance of contracts and the status of measurements.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams, presenting the status of measurements, billing, contractual balances and main deviations.
  • Identify, document and quantify impacts arising from changes in scope, interference, restrictions and other events that may affect the contractual value or the right to receive payment.
  • Organize and maintain the traceability of documents and evidence that support measurements, ensuring the necessary records for audits and contractual management processes.
  • Ensure compliance of measurements and information related to billing with the company's internal procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Support the monthly project closing processes, ensuring the correct consolidation of measurements, appropriations and physical-financial progress information.

Requirements

  • Completed Higher Education in Engineering.
  • Advanced command of Excel.
  • Experience in Measurement, in engineering, mining or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with the PowerBI tool
