Role Summary

Recommend certification or continuity of this for the audited companies.

Review and validate the certification scope.

Comply with the provisions of global audit procedures.

Review client action plans in relation to NC's attention.

Prepare audit plans.

Plan, execute, report and track third-party audits.

Requirements

At least secondary or higher education

• Evidence of satisfactory completion of at least college education and at least 4 years (FSC)) of full-time experience in the forestry and/or tree and related industries.
• For PEFC COC: training must include or be complemented by courses related to forestry and/or tree and related industries. This specific training can be replaced by 2 years of work experience in these sectors if it is equivalent to the required training.

Or as equivalence

• Evidence of satisfactory completion of college education and at least 2 years of full-time experience in forestry and related industries.
• For PEFC COC, higher education must be suitable or relevant to forestry and/or tree and related industries.

Work experience

If the above work experience requirement is not met: the candidate may request that 1 year of full-time work experience be substituted for 4 CoC audits.

For FSC only: In the absence of sufficient professional experience in the forest products sector, the candidate must have professional experience as an ISO 9001 registered auditor (IRCA /RABQSA) or as a chain of custody auditor for certification systems. Minimum education and professional work year requirements continue to apply.
