About Eurofins Forensics Belgium
Eurofins Forensics Belgium offers a wide range of forensic analyzes and services for criminal investigations and legal proceedings. For the further development of our forensic laboratory, we are looking for an Experienced Forensic Toxicology Analyst (m/f/x) based in Bruges.
- Analyzing various types of samples using sample preparation and analysis techniques
- You perform analyzes with simple and advanced techniques such as liquid or gas chromatography, mass spectrometry,…
- When carrying out your work, you take the quality standards of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard into account
- You use and maintain laboratory equipment according to the correct procedures
- Follow-up of internal and external quality controls
- Together with your colleagues, you analyze the results of the quality checks and, if necessary, carry out corrective actions
- You report any non-conformities or opportunities to improve the process
- You ensure accurate handling of administrative registrations
- Manage the reagents, solvents and waste
- You provide support with inventory management
- Experience with medical laboratory technology (MLT) and PFAS is a plus
Requirements
You successfully completed a bachelor's or master's degree as a laboratory technician and in the meantime you have built up at least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- A thorough experience with chromatographic techniques and LC-MS is an absolute must;
- You have extensive knowledge of the daily management of the analytical equipment within the laboratory;

- You attach importance to the safety regulations and follow them carefully;
- Working in a team or on an independent basis is no problem for you;
- You communicate in an open and clear manner in Dutch;
- You are an initiator who can look up and process information in a smooth manner;
- You analyze the measurement results correctly and you recognize deviating results;
You work according to standard procedures in a BELAC-accredited environment.
