Role Summary
2 main missions
Maximize the ecological performance of sites: optimization of utilities (water, steam, hot, cold, compressed air), improvement of energy efficiency, electrical engineering, PV
Maximize the performance of installations: design/installation of decarbonizing equipment (PAC, biomass, etc.), mechanical engineering, regulatory maintenance
As part of its activities, Veolia Energie Performance is recruiting in electrical energy, and in particular the generator set, a generator set maintenance technician.
Reporting to the Team Manager at our Dagneux agency, you work on different customer sites to ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the generators.
This position is itinerant and involves regular travel with drop-offs within an area covering Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes as well as southern Burgundy (Saône-et-Loire, Nièvre, Côte-d'Or, Jura and Doubs).
Your main missions
- Carry out preventive and curative maintenance operations on generators.
- Diagnose breakdowns and carry out the necessary interventions to maintain equipment in operational condition.
- Prepare the generators and carry out tests before they are made available, according to customer needs.
- Monitor interventions and update intervention reports accurately.
- Propose actions to improve, repair or replace equipment in order to optimize their performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, regulatory requirements and contractual commitments.
- Represent Veolia Énergie Performance to customers and guarantee a high level of quality of service.
Daytime shift: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
12-month fixed-term contract.

Requirements
- You have training in mechanics, electrotechnics, electromechanics or equivalent.
- You have experience in maintaining generators or similar industrial equipment.
- You have solid skills in mechanics as well as low and high voltage electricity (LV/HT).
- You are autonomous in diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out interventions.
- You enjoy regular travel and working while roaming.
Qualifications and certifications desired
- Up to date LV/HT electrical certifications.
- The B license is essential.
