Your role: ensure that Schiphol remains audible (and) safe
As a Field Service Engineer Audio Safety you work in the middle of Schiphol's live operations.
You ensure that systems
- function as designed
- continue to work reliably
- respond correctly in practical situations
- remain safely operational during changes
You are the one who makes technology visibly reliable.
This is not a standard service function. You work in an environment where systems can never be turned off for a while.

Responsibilities
What you do specifically
- From failure to live validation
- Commissioning of audio and evacuation systems
- Resolving complex technical problems
- Carrying out functional tests
- Check whether systems respond as intended
- Perform software updates and changes
- Implementing minor technical adjustments in live environments
- Participate in the design and delivery of security systems
- Guiding colleagues and external parties
- Recording activities, tests and reports
- Working according to safety and quality guidelines (ARBO & VCA)
- Participate in standby services
- You ensure that systems are not just “on” — but also really do what they are supposed to do.

Requirements
- MBO working and thinking level
- Technical affinity with audio, safety or security systems
- Calm and overview under pressure
- Independent and accurate working method
- Willingness to participate in standby shifts
- Highly desired
- VCA certification
- ICT knowledge and basic network knowledge
- NEN3140
- Installation or maintenance expert OAI/BMI
- Experience with IP camera or intercom systems
- Knowledge of Commend is an advantage
