Field service technician resistance spot welding, welding technology focus on welding process (f/m/div.)

Role Summary

As a field service technician in the area of resistance spot welding (f/m/div.), you will carry out service calls for all Bosch Rexroth products worldwide, with the focus of your work being on the welding process.

You advise our customers on optimizing their systems, for example in spatter reduction, parameterization or controller (re)commissioning. The focus here is on resistance spot welding for the automotive, projection welding, micro welding and general market sectors.

Carrying out commissioning for internal and external customers is also part of your job. Among other things, you will be responsible for troubleshooting running systems in the field, programming welding controls and coordinating and carrying out field activities.

You plan and carry out customer training and process training both in-house and externally. You also organize and lead workshops for customers and national companies.

You will also provide customer support via telephone and the global service center.

Requirements

• Education: completed studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable
• Personality and way of working: high customer orientation and confident demeanor with customers, decisive action, high assertiveness, independent, focused and result-oriented work, communication skills and resilience
• Experience and know-how: several years of professional experience in the area of application, resistance spot welding with a focus on the welding process, preferably in the automotive industry
• Other: Possession of a Class B driver's license, willingness to travel internationally
• Languages: very good German and English
