Field Application Engineer

Role Summary

Develop automation solutions with the customer that involve the need for programming and changing hardware and software.

Carry out preventive and corrective interventions on cargo handling equipment. Prepare technical reports and occurrence studies (root cause).

Carry out safety and functioning analysis on equipment when incidents and/or undue downtime are involved.

Work with customers on matters relating to technical support and possible clarifications about equipment and its configurations.

Carry out all necessary studies and parameterization of process equipment and special functions.

Carry out validations of the necessary guarantees and analyses.

Travel nationally and internationally when requested.

Comply with policies, procedures and/or standards relating to the company, work processes, quality management system, environment, health, safety and labor legislation, as well as ensuring the organization, custody, security and confidentiality of the documentation under your responsibility and keeping the workplace clean and organized.

Carry out other related activities at the discretion of your immediate superior

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation or Automation Technology;
• Advanced English;
• Minimum experience of 3 years in the area of programming and technical support;
• Knowledge of organizational culture and values.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance process of cargo handling equipment.
• Knowledge of the office package, with an advanced level in Excel.
• Knowledge of integrated systems.
• Advanced knowledge in PLC programming and development (Siemens, Rockwell, Wago).
• Advanced knowledge in frequency inverters (ABB, Vacon, Siemens).
• Advanced knowledge in electrical projects and circuits.
• Advanced knowledge in Automation.
• Have NR's 01, 06, 10, 11 and 35.
• Possess a valid driver's license and passport, with availability for national and international travel
