Role Summary
Within the component manufacturing unit; bringing together stamping/machining and hammering processes, you will be in charge of:
1.Manage process improvement plans within your scope (Quality, OEE, Consumables, etc.)
Optimize production flows and resources,
Support daily production activity,
- Industrialize new products using existing means or using new equipment and
modifications in serial life
Analyze and collect needs, establish specifications for new products and/or new technologies and contribute to the drafting of the production file,
Plan the production of pre-series and the production of initial samples and organize the resolution of observed discrepancies,
Participate in the preparation of the economic plan and investment files,
Integrate process or process standards,
Coordinate the application of modifications to products and processes,
Analyze and provide the technical data, in your area of expertise, necessary for the costing/profitability of the process and/or the finished product,
Place orders for goods or services and follow the process until invoices are validated.
Requirements
For this position, we are looking for an engineer or technician who has already had experience in the automotive sector or in an industrial environment (knowledge in mechanics, materials, NC, cutting tools, etc.)
The skills desired for this position are
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions,
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Mastery of technical writing and ability to synthesize complex information for varied audiences,
- Experience in production planning, pre-series management and process standardization,
- Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams,
- Proficiency in Creo software or similar CAD design tools is an asset,
Fluency in English is desired; fluency in other languages is an asset.
