In Rambøll, we have a global team with some of the world's best water consultants. We help our customers with their biggest challenges in dealing with water and climate change with solutions that create value for nature, infrastructure and our built environment. Our core services in the area of climate adaptation and water include advice within climate adaptation plans, storm surge and cloudburst protection, handling of rainwater and waste water as well as industrial water, groundwater close to the ground as well as alternative resources for water supply and planning of water infrastructure in general.

In the role of project manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects within water and climate adaptation. You ensure progress, quality and collaboration across disciplines - from the early analyzes to the finished solutions. You thrive on complex tasks, communicate clearly with both internal and external parties and actively contribute to developing sustainable solutions that strengthen future climate adaptation.

Responsibilities

Your primary areas of responsibility will be

  • Project management of major climate adaptation projects - from idea to implementation.
  • Develop strategies and action plans for climate adaptation.
  • Analyze data and risk assessments and translate them into concrete project measures.
  • Advise municipalities, utilities and private actors, etc. on climate adaptation and sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure interdisciplinary coordination between engineers, architects, planners, environmental specialists and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure the good project process through all phases of the project with a focus on quality, time and finances.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and development of new methods and tools within climate adaptation.
  • About you
  • A relevant education as an engineer or similar - preferably with a water specialist profile
  • Min. 8 years of experience with project management, especially in the planning and development phases
  • Experience with interdisciplinary coordination between engineering, environment, finance and authority processing
  • Thrives in collaboration across specialist groups, utilities and municipalities

Broad understanding of the challenges within climate adaptation, water management and the water cycle, as well as how water and climate adaptation play a key role in nature and urban planning

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
  • Strong communication skills - both written and spoken in Danish and preferably English
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to create momentum in complex projects
  • Experience using project management tools
