Role Summary

You will join the Sopra Steria company within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you are required to evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in outsourcing type services or you are directly integrated into client teams. You are supported by a dynamic team who will make you take an active part in the project as a whole.

Your role and missions

• As a DBA / Database Engineer, you will bring your expertise to carrying out the following missions:
• You carry out the study and implementation of DBMS development projects;
• You provide technical assistance for new projects;
• You handle complex incidents (level 3);
• You write and maintain technical documentation;
• You are responsible for managing obsolescence within the DBMS scope;
• You analyze and process requests from the Information System (advice, expertise, recommendation of good practices);

You support and advise development teams on deployments and good practices related to databases.

Requirements

• Graduate with a Bac+5 and from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 7 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Your level of English is operational.
• You have experience in administering multi-DBMS databases (Oracle and SQL Server; MySQL and PostgreSQL being a plus).
• You have strong skills in cross-platform automation (PowerShell and Linux scripting), as well as good knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• You are autonomous, rigorous and pragmatic.
• You also have a good sense of service and customer relations.
