Role Summary

Reporting to the Team Leader - Project Execution, you will be at the heart of the action. As a Project Engineer, you won't just do documentation—you'll lead our water treatment projects through all phases, from detailed engineering to manufacturing support and field commissioning. Your technical expertise will ensure the quality of the deliverables and the overall success of the project.

Responsibilities

  1. Global and Detailed Engineering
  • Translate customer technical needs into concrete solutions during project start-ups
  • Develop technical designs: process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and layout plans
  • Prepare technical data sheets (PDS), select the appropriate equipment and validate the compatibility of materials
  1. Manufacturing Coordination and Support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (project managers, designers, automation, procurement)
  • Serve as a key technical resource to coordinate activities with the procurement department and manufacturing floor

Prepare manufacturing files and define quality control points

  1. Deployment and Commissioning
  • See your designs come to life by supporting commissioning teams directly on site
  • Ensure rigorous monitoring of technical interventions and manage the list of deficiencies
  • Close projects by finalizing technical documentation (operations and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, final plans)

As a Project Execution Engineer, you won't just document—you'll guide our water treatment projects through every phase, from detailed engineering to manufacturing support and field commissioning. Your technical expertise will ensure quality deliverables and overall project success.

  • Close projects by finalizing technical documentation (operation/maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, final drawings)

Requirements

  • English follows
  • Training and Experience
  • Degree in engineering and member in good standing of the Order of Engineers (OIQ or other recognized Canadian association)
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience (knowledge of the water treatment sector is an important asset)
  • Fluency in French (oral and written) and advanced knowledge of English to collaborate effectively with our customers and suppliers

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in design software, Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace
  • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems

Education & Experience

  • Engineering degree + active membership with Professional Engineers Order (OIQ or recognized Canadian association)

  • Fluent French (oral & written) + advanced English for collaboration with external clients and suppliers
