Role Summary
Under the supervision of the Shipping Supervisor, the candidate must properly pack and label the boxes to be shipped. He must produce and ensure the conformity of all shipping documents as required. He applies the set safety standards, work instructions as well as the policies and procedures in force. He participates in the layout of work areas.
The incumbent inspects the conformity of the equipment and packs the packages ready to ship, while completing the checklist. Follow up on calibration sending requests. Make after-sales service shipments on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Give transportation price estimates to order-taking staff and project managers;
- Coordinate shipments according to carrier schedules;
- Ensure that orders are shipped to customers according to promised delivery times;
- Manage internal customer request emails;
- Prepare customs and transport documents according to instructions;
- Verify that all relevant information appears on export documents;
- Apply the correct Incoterms and HS Code;
- Use carrier software (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, etc.) and manufacturer software;
- Manage request emails from external clients;
- Save all shipping documents for the day in the appropriate file following the procedure;
- Pack packages properly according to established procedures;
- Pack the Lithium batteries following the procedure and label the boxes well;
Requirements
Technical skills
- A high school diploma is required;
- 2 years' experience in an exporting manufacturing company is an asset;
- Computer knowledge;
- Knowledge of Smart View, Visual, Outlook and Deca software;
- Knowledge of calculation parameters related to pricing;
- Knowledge of shipping software, such as FedEx, UPS, Purolator;
English level: Intermediate.

- Physical ability to regularly lift loads of 25kg;
