Role Summary
As a Commercial Seeds Planning Manager France (M/F), you will manage the planning of our industrial seeds site in Nérac as well as our subcontracting network in France.
At the heart of our operations, you ensure alignment between industrial capacities (equipment, workforce, logistics) and commercial demand on a European scale. This strategic and transversal role will allow you to combine team management, operational excellence and digital transformation in an international and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Capacity management: Define and monitor the medium and long-term load plan (Rough Cut Capacity Plan) for the Nérac site and French subcontractors, ensuring the match between supply and demand.
- Team management: Supervise, lead and develop the team of 7 people (planners, suppliers, schedulers, multiplication order manager) by promoting continuous improvement through the principles of Lean and OPEX.
- Transversal coordination: Act as a privileged interlocutor between European planners, site management, the global Supply Chain and external partners to anticipate and resolve capacity constraints.
- ROP process: Manage the ROP (Requirements and Operations Planning) process and ensure the publication of commercial production schedules.
- Digital transformation: Lead the modernization of planning processes by optimizing the use of SAP and integrating innovative tools (PowerBI, Smartsheet, AI solutions).
- Budget management: Manage the department's budget, participate in subcontracting contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Training: Bac+5 level diploma (Master or Engineer) in Supply Chain, Industrial Planning, Agro-industry or equivalent. An APICS certification is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain planning management role, ideally in the seed or agro-industrial sector.
- Leadership: Proven experience in team management and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix and international organization.
- Technical skills: Excellent command of SAP ERP (Master Data, planning modules) and strong appetite for data and digital analysis tools.
- Regulations: Knowledge of the French seed regulatory framework and HSE requirements in an industrial environment.
- Languages: Fluent command of French and English (essential for daily exchanges at European level).
