Role Summary
For our production site in Monthey, where our activities are mainly linked to plant protection, we are looking for apprentice CFC Chemical and Pharmaceutical Production Technologists, on a school model!
During the first 3 semesters, the training will take place full-time at the Intercantonal Professional School of Chemistry (EPIC) in Monthey.
The last 3 semesters, in a context where safety is the priority, the apprentice operates automated and computerized industrial installations for the manufacture of chemical products and also participates in the development and fine-tuning of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
More precisely
Participate in production planning, preparation and configuration of installations, with the constant concern to ensure product quality and the best possible yield
- Plan the successive stages of the manufacturing process
- Monitor the progress of reactions in the manufacturing process, identify possible anomalies, remedy them or stop the reaction
- Take samples of products during manufacturing and analyze them
- Record control results in reports
- Suggest measures to take to prevent the most common failures of devices and devices
- Clean and maintain production facilities, equipment and instruments and carry out simple repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection regulations
