Role Summary

Are you a project MANAGER with a capital L?

Project management is a craft where, fortunately, you have proven methodology and framework available. Certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, PMP and SAFe are the hygiene factor in our industry, and important to "prove" that you have relevant tools in your toolbox. At the same time, project management is much more than perfect plans, glossy templates and abstract concepts, it's about getting the job done. It's about being a real LEADER for the team, the delivery and the customer, and daring to make difficult decisions. It's about using yourself and your experiences to navigate unclear situations and really understand what it takes to succeed.

Sopra Steria has one of Norway's strongest professional environments within project management and now sees the need for more skilled people to strengthen our team locally in Trondheim. We are looking for you who have proven that you know what it takes to deliver successful IT projects by combining project expertise AND management. We can't wait to hear how you did it!

A little about you

You have proven that you can manage an IT project successfully in port, and that you can handle difficult situations and framework conditions.

You have mastered the methodology part enough to choose the right procedure and have control over risk and finances, while at the same time you dare to be a leader you look up to.

You must have some concrete projects to show that involved both technology, people and profit realization, and where YOU made a difference.

You preferably have 5+ years of experience as a project manager and it is a big plus if you know a lot about modern IT infrastructures and can thus more easily collaborate with subject experts within the infrastructure domain.

In addition, you may have higher education, preferably in IT. Excellent Norwegian and English skills are a prerequisite, both orally and in writing.
