Role Summary

As part of a permanent recruitment, you will join the Sopra Steria Financial Services teams in Strasbourg and work with major clients in the banking and financial sector, on Java / Angular projects with high business value.

Long-term integrated into an Agile project team, you participate in the development of sustainable digital solutions, at the heart of financial information systems. You will evolve in a stimulating technical environment, with real support and prospects for advancement within the Group.

Your role and missions

• As a Java / Angular Developer, you are fully integrated into the project team and are involved in the entire development cycle:
• Design and development of Java applications
• Angular front-end developments
• Participation in the maintenance and evolution of applications
• Contribution to code quality, maintainability and performance
• Participation in code reviews and continuous improvement
• Implementation and monitoring of tests
• Contribution to integration and continuous deployment chains
• Work in close collaboration with project teams and business contacts
• Participation in Agile ceremonies

• Back-end: Java (Spring / Spring Boot depending on projects)
• Front-end: Angular
• Tools: Git, CI/CD
• Framework: Agile environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school, Master 2 in computer science or equivalent
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in Java / Angular development
• Practice of Agile environments
• Strong sense of quality: clean code, maintainability, testing
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues
• Good interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork
• Appetite for Financial Services and high-stakes systems
