Role Summary

We are recruiting a Scientific Developer Engineer to join our INDUSTRY Business Unit within the Digital Simulation Agency which brings together our expertise in the fields of scientific computing, modeling, TMA of scientific applications and studies of complex physical phenomena.

Development activity

  • Development of new applications, either as part of redesigning an obsolete application, or to meet new user needs
  • Evolution of existing applications in order to maintain a good level of application efficiency
  • Cross-code review to ensure the quality of developments
  • Implementing unit tests
  • Creating release packages

Setting up applications and configurations (updating the database).

MCO and DevOps activity

Analyzing and fixing bugs

User Support

Updated configuration management documentation and code.

  • Developments / integration of bricks with different deployment tools
  • Keeping deployment tools and documentation up to date
  • Delivery to production

Your area of expertise

  • Knowledge of Fortran
  • Common use of Git
  • Basics of Java
  • Concepts of CI/CD tools (Jenkins and/or Gitlab CI)
  • Mastery of Python
  • Mastery of C++ language

Requirements

With Bac+5 training in a scientific or technical universe, you have a minimum experience of 2 years to 3 years in scientific development.
