Responsibilities

As an advisor in data and AI governance, you will work to establish, further develop and operationalize governance practices at our customers. You will contribute to businesses gaining better control over data, metadata, terms, data quality, ownership, access management, classification and compliance.

You will work technically and practically with e.g. MicrosoftPurview, among other data catalog, classification, lineage, concept modeling and policies. You will also contribute to developing information models, conceptual models and logical data models that make it easier for businesses to understand, manage and use data in a good way.

The role also involves working with governance and frameworks for artificial intelligence, including responsible use of AI, documentation, traceability, risk assessments, data bases, model use and operationalization of requirements from both the business and regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with both technical teams, business environments, security, privacy and management to ensure that governance does not just become documentation, but a practical part of how the business works with data and AI.

In our projects, you will combine technical understanding with the ability to see the whole, understand the customer's needs and translate strategy and requirements into concrete solutions that create value.

  • Who we're looking for
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with data governance, information management or work with data platforms
  • Experience with data catalogue, metadata, classification and lineage, preferably using Microsoft Purview
  • Experience with data modeling, information modeling or conceptual modeling
  • Relevant higher education
  • Good understanding of modern computer platforms
  • Norwegian language skills at minimum level B2
  • AI governance, responsible AI or risk assessment of AI solutions
  • Data quality, data ownership, access management or regulatory requirements
  • Personal characteristics
  • You are professionally strong and have a genuine interest in data, governance and artificial intelligence
  • You are curious, willing to learn and happy to share knowledge
  • You enjoy meeting different people and work closely with both customers and colleagues
  • You communicate clearly and create trust in dialogue with others
  • You work independently, but also like to solve problems in a team
