Role Summary

We are recruiting a traveling Installation Technician to join our Defense & Security BU within the Material & Deployment Department (DMD) agency.

DMD is a transversal agency, which supports projects of the Defense & Security BU.

Its main mission is to put its skills and resources at the service of internal and external customers in the areas of equipment design, installation and deployment.

It also has a site and factory support role (hot line), ensures the execution and monitoring of repairs and replacements. This department intervenes from the upstream phases (responses to calls for tender) to the downstream phases (removal and dismantling of systems).

Responsibilities

• You will participate in the installations of our systems by preparing the necessary equipment
• You will be responsible for network cabling: RJ45 socket, optical fiber etc.
• You will prepare the wiring of technical bays, grounding and antenna cabling
• You will mount the false ceilings, the floor and the cable trays

Requirements

The technical environment

• B1V or B2 electrical accreditation
• Network and electrical wiring (electrical panel)
• Knowledge of equipment installation

Experience working at height: basket, pylon would be a plus.

Fluency in English is a plus for traveling abroad

• This position is itinerant and frequent travel throughout France is expected.
• From Professional Baccalaureate to Bac+3 training, you have a minimum experience of 2 years in cabling. Mastery of knowledge in equipment installation is essential to the performance of your role.
• Do you have ease with network and electrical wiring and can you speak English? Are you qualified for B1V or B2 electricity and do you have experience working at height? Then you are the gem we are looking for!
