Role Summary

🌱We are looking for a Technician for the SGS Regulatory Environment Department in Paterna (Valencia).

You will develop as an Environmental Inspector Technician in the scope of standard 17020: Inspection – Characterization of waste, Contaminated soils, Groundwater, Landfill Inspection, Environmental Authorizations

You will be part of an expert team committed to sustainability and environmental quality.

• In your daily life, you will participate in tasks such as:
• Environmental control related to Inspection – Characterization of waste, Contaminated soils, Groundwater, Landfill Inspection
• Field work for sampling, in situ measurements, etc…
• Planning of inspections, management of samples to laboratories
• Preparation of technical inspection reports and interpretation of results to verify compliance with applicable environmental regulations
• Verification of environmental legal requirements, Environmental Authorization

Organization and maintenance of the technical material necessary for inspections.

Requirements

🎓Required qualification

• Higher Cycle training degree (GFCS in Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Health or similar) or Degree in a branch of Sciences (Environmental, Chemistry, Geology,...)
• We will value: Experience and knowledge of environmental legislation in inspection work for Waste, Contaminated Soils, Water, Higher Degree FP, preferably in Environmental Health or Environmental Chemistry.
• Experience: At least 1 year in similar functions. We will value very positively if you have regulatory accreditations.
• Other requirements: Driving license, own vehicle, knowledge of office tools, organizational attitudes, communication, customer orientation.
