Role Summary
Do you ensure that our medical shipments reach their destination worldwide?
One of our specializations is the transport of medical materials on behalf of academic hospitals and research institutions. As an Operational Employee Biologistics Services you are the link between our clients and carriers.
Within our operational services, you are involved on a daily basis in preparing, processing and supervising specialist shipments. This is emphatically a hands-on operational position where you alternate administrative work with light physical operational work. You work with biological material, temperature-sensitive shipments, packaging and transport documentation and ensure that shipments are carried out correctly, safely and in accordance with the applicable procedures.
In addition to the existing work, SGS is working on the further development of our Pharma Logistics services. This gives you the opportunity, depending on your experience and development, to also be involved in pharmaceutical and GDP-related logistics activities.
Consider
- preparing and coordinating temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments;
- working with qualified packaging solutions, temperature and GPS monitoring;
- checking and recording transport and quality documentation;
- support in case of deviations and special features during transport;
work according to procedures and quality requirements within a GDP environment.
Requirements
Experience within pharma, healthcare, GDP or temperature-controlled logistics is therefore an advantage, but not an absolute requirement. It is more important that you are operationally strong, work accurately, take responsibility and like to roll up your sleeves.
- We would like to see the following experience on your CV:
- A completed MBO level 4 course;
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Word and Excel;
Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
Benefits
