Role Summary
6-month fixed-term contract job offer – Customs declarant (M/F)
Site: Oil depot – maritime and logistics activity
As part of transit and oil depot operations, we are looking for a Customs Declarant to manage customs operations related to the unloading of ships and the loading of tank trucks.
Coordinate with field teams during operations
- unloading of ships
- loading tank trucks
- Check the consistency of declared volumes with physical operations
- Manage documentary flows linked to goods movements
- Monitoring and control
- Check transport documents (BL, CMR, etc.)
- Ensure product traceability
- Participate in customs audits and controls
- Update monitoring and reporting tables
Responsibilities
- Management of customs operations
- Prepare and transmit customs declarations (import/export)
- Ensure compliance of customs files (documents, nomenclature, value, origin)
- Follow customs regimes specific to petroleum products (tax warehouse, transit, etc.)
- Be the interface with customs authorities
- Operations support
Requirements
- Training/experience
- Bac +2 to Bac +3 in customs, logistics or international trade
- Experience desired in a similar position, ideally in an oil, port or industrial logistics environment
- Knowledge of customs regulations (Union Customs Code)
Skills
- Mastery of customs declaration tools (DELTA type or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of Incoterms and transport documents
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Ability to work in an operational/field environment
- Personal qualities
- Responsiveness and priority management
- Good interpersonal skills (internal interface and authorities)
- Analytical spirit and autonomy
