Role Summary

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Carry out sample collection and preparation tasks for laboratory analysis according to established procedures and/or direct instructions from a supervisor and execution of rapid analyses.

1.- Ensure/Guarantee the preparation of laboratory samples for carrying out analysis, which involves, among other tasks, the reduction, homogenization, division of the samples received, as well as the spraying to obtain the analysis samples, as well as the sample drying process.

2.- Ensure the delivery of the prepared samples to the analysis area for testing, together with the respective documentation

3.- Ensure the registration in the file of the data corresponding to each sample, and the identification of the same in the Operating System that applies / (Solser, CClas, etc.), according to established procedures, keeping the record updated

4.- Verify the calibration and operational status of the equipment and instruments daily, in order to corroborate that the equipment has the established parameters and carry out the necessary controls in the execution of the tests, ensuring that the conditions required for their execution are found, ensuring the quality of the analyzes to be carried out in the laboratory.

5.- Maintain order and cleanliness in the Laboratory in each of the activities carried out and comply with the Laboratory's safety standards, safeguarding the quality of the samples and/or processes to be analyzed, as well as preserving the environment during the execution of its activities through waste management.

Requirements

• Academic training: Mining technician / Laboratory technician / Bachelor / Official trained in the organization.
• Experience: Preferred, but not essential, some experience in preparation of inorganic samples, laboratory analysis and/or quality control.
• Integrity.
• Order and quality.
• Teamwork.
