Role Summary

Analyst II Activities

Carry out the tests in accordance with the testing procedures or methods and applying good laboratory practices, impartiality, confidentiality with the information generated.

Verify the calibration and operational status of the equipment.

Prepare reagents and standards for analyses.

Carry out the necessary controls during the execution of the tests.

Validate the data and information obtained in the evaluation of results whenever authorized.

Report the data and information necessary for the evaluation of results.

Identify Non-Compliant during the execution of activities and propose the necessary actions.

Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory.

Participate and/or promote the implementation of continuous improvements in laboratory processes.

Participate in the development of analysis techniques or methods to be used in the case of new determinations.

Apply, maintain and promote continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Comply with the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Policy and the specific objectives of the area.

Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct of SGS.

Apply the established Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental standards, identifying and communicating potential risks to your Safety and Health, participating in activities and training, with the aim of proactively contributing to your colleagues and leaders and guaranteeing the exercise of your activities in a safe and healthy manner.

Requirements

• University completed in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field.
• Mining Geochemical Analysis Experience - ATOMIC ABSORPTION equipment management
